How many threads and needles does it have?
It is a 4-thread, 2-needle serger, but it can be modified to work with 3 or 2 threads and one needle.
What types of stitches can a serger do?
4 and 3 thread overlock = used to create seams and stop fraying.
2 thread overlock = a lightweight stitch used to finish the edges of lightweight fabrics.
Rolled hem & narrow hem = finish the edge of a single layer of fabric.
Mock flatlock = join 2 pieces of fabric with a flat seam.
Blind hem = Finish your hems with this “invisible” stitch.
Picot edge = a decorative way to finish the edge of a single layer of fabric.
Does the serger Point do rolled hem?
Yes, it does, just to set up the machine in 3 threads, adjust the tensions and the blades.
Does it have a removable blade?
Yes, it has a detachable blade.
