Bruxel Gala Sewing Machine Care
While your machine doesn't need to be cleaned every day, it does require careful cleaning after each use. Care is fairly simple and, when done correctly, can extend the life of your machine. Remember the following tips that will help you keep your sewing machine in perfect conditions:
1- Remove all the threads that remain on the bobbin, the bobbin case and the needle. Put them aside, somewhere safe.
2- Remove all the dust and lint, where you can find them.
3- Clean the coil area, but don't be tempted to use compressed air as it can push the lint further into the machine.
4- Use a brush to gently remove lint buildup from the spool and feed dog area, or vacuum the areas if they are hard to reach.
5- Our Bruxel Gala has an automatic lubrication system, so only once in a while it may be necessary to oil the sewing machine in the center of the bobbin holder area with just a few drops.
