Differential Feed Ratio
The differential feed controls the movement of the feed dogs that move the fabric through the machine. Even with easily stretched fabrics such as knits and georgette, create beautifully sewn finishes by adjusting the knob.
Gathering Seam
Easy gathering, connecting fabric and edge finishing in one step. Pulling in a fabric edge using one or multiple basting stitches such that it forces the fabric edge into even folds.
Removable Trim Trap
The trim trap collects the fabric trim as the serger knife trims and serges your project, and can be easily detached from the serger.
2/3/4 Thread Capabilities
This serger works with either 2, 3 or 4 threads, for added flexibility. For example, 4 threads are useful for a strong overlock seam on wovens, and 3 threads for overlock stitching on knits or suits.
Tackle All Fabrics
Serge with confidence on multiple layers . Professionally cut and finish in one easy step on a wide range of projects. Allows for various sewing applications from overlock stitching to a rolled hem.

The Strong & Tough Serger thread stand is made of solid metal, for enhanced durability and longevity. The thread stand helps ensure that the thread feeds up and off your thread spools correctly.

Lumina Moda Serger Machine Care
While your machine doesn't need to be cleaned every day, it does require careful cleaning after use. Taking care of it is fairly simple and, when it's done correctly, can extend the life of your machine. Due to the fact of cutting the fabric, an overlocker gets dirty faster than a common sewing machine. Remember the following tips that will help you keep your Lumina serger machine in perfect conditions:
1- When you finish working, with the brush, clean all the remains of fabric that are above and below the presser foot.
2- We recommend to lubricate the machine in all the movements, such as the stitch eccentric, the stitch connecting rod and the crochet rear axle. (sporadically)
3- Change the machine needle every time it is damaged or broken, to avoid damaging the serger and to have a better sewing quality. .
4- Use a brush to gently remove lint buildup from the spool and feed dog area.
5- More sporadically, lubricate the presser foot bar once a week and the needle bar twice a week.
